The Wrap

Friday night's 4A playoff opener had a little movie drama. Vista Ridge's football team watched a double-digit second-half lead shrink to a one-score game, then held off Longmont 34-31. The No. 14 seed Wolves are now 7-4, and coach Matt Wibbels says his seniors won't let the team quit. Nail-biters make the best film.
