Let’s Enjoy a Thanksgiving Hike!

Distance: 5.5 miles round trip Elevation Gain: 580 feet

Let's spend part of Thanksgiving enjoying the mountain air, beautiful scenery, and best of all, good company 😊

I've enabled the guest option (2 max) so family and friends can join us too.

We'll start out on the Lower Big BlueStem Trail, where open space gives us nice views of the Front Range/Flatirons. From there, we'll head north and enjoy a loop through Shanahan Ridge, trading the open views for a bit of tree-covered scenery. After our loop, we'll head back on BlueStem.

• What to bring : your pack, water, snack, hiking footwear, layers, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses

• Restrooms : are available at the trailhead

• Dogs : welcome on this hike and allowed on leash

• Parking : South Boulder Creek West Trailhead – please use the map location pin

• ***Parking Fee*: $5** or waived if your vehicle is registered in Boulder County
