Good morning, Lafayette.

On November 13th, Boulder County Commissioners approved over $2 million in grants from the Climate Equity Fund to support 15 projects focused on food access, clean energy, education, and emergency preparedness.

The projects—set to be completed in 2026—span both rural and urban areas and are led by community members committed to climate justice.

Lafayette officials and CDOT are reviewing plans to move the historic WWI Road of Remembrance pillars to a site in Atlas Valley at the southwest corner of 95th Street and Arapahoe Road—an effort that will require engineering design approval, contractor evaluations and a city site plan review. The project will advance once further technical assessments and permit discussions are completed.
