- ➤ Boulder County will award $1.15 million in emergency funds to four food providers to help fill gaps in food access caused by the federal government shutdown—$850,000 will go to Community Food Share and $100,000 each to Sister Carmen Community Center in Lafayette, OUR Center in Longmont, and Emergency Family Assistance Association in Boulder. The county will work with state and local groups to help food banks serve more people as about 19,000 residents face paused SNAP benefits. Boulder County
