  • The Boulder County Area Agency on Aging's Rainbow Elders program will host the 25th annual Lavender Gala on Sunday, Dec. 7 from noon to 3 p.m. at Nissi's Entertainment Venue and Event Center on Coal Creek Dr.—tickets are $12.51 with sponsorships available for those in need.  Boulder County

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Boulder County Parks & Open Space will award up to $12,500 in small grants for research and biological inventories on open space lands, and proposals must be submitted by Friday, Jan. 9. The grants will help improve management practices and park experiences & support efforts to adapt to climate change.  Boulder County

  • Boulder County Wildfire Partners and CSU Extension will host a free online webinar on designing fire-resilient landscapes for landscape architects, designers, and contractors on Nov. 12 from noon to 1 p.m.—the session will cover fire-adapted design, plant selection, and creating defensible space to reduce wildfire risk.  Boulder County
  • Boulder County and U.S. Sen.
