- ➤ Keep It Clean Partnership announced that submissions are open for a water-themed art contest for K-12 students in Boulder County. Students must submit artwork on a standard sheet of paper (8.5 by 11 inches) that answers 'I am grateful for water because…' with entries due by the deadline (Nov. 9, 11:59 p.m. MT) while prizes will be awarded by grade division. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Boulder County Public Works’ Resource Conservation Division opened grant applications for 2026 Circular Economy Fund projects from August 18 to September 30, 2025—eligible applicants include local governments, nonprofits, school districts and private companies requesting funds between $1,000 and $30,000 to support resource diversion methods such as recycling and composting.
