- ➤ The Louisville Historical Museum and the Lafayette History Museum will host an educational event on Indigenous Peoples’ Day with Fred Mosqueda discussing Arapaho language and culture on Oct. 9 at the Lafayette Public Library—he will share how Native traditions shaped the area—and a documentary screening with director Jordan Dresser on Oct. 24 at the Louisville Arts Center with a follow-up Q&A. - ➤ Lafayette City Council rescheduled several meetings to align with holiday observances and the November election. The October 7 meeting will be held on October 14, the October 21 meeting on October 28, and the November 4 meeting on November 3, all at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 1290 S.
