- ➤ The Arts Hub on 420 Courtney Way in Lafayette will host the accessible theater production Barefoot in the Park from Sept. 5-7 and Sept. 12-14 — the shows will start at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, and the production features American Sign Language, spoken English and captions to tell the story of newlyweds starting life together in a small New York apartment. - ➤ The Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley School Districts are set to elect new board members in November, with Boulder Valley holding one contested race in District E between Jeff Anderson and Deann Bucher and uncontested races in Districts B and F—while St. Vrain Valley has two contested races in which six candidates vie for four seats including contests in Districts B and D. - ➤ Boulder County is testing 20 new emergency sirens from today through September 15 in Eldorado Springs, Jamestown, Lyons, Erie, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior and unincorporated areas near Marshall—these sirens use clearer technology funded by a federal grant and will play a test message for the community.
