- ➤ A home on Estabrook Way in Superior was damaged in a fire Friday night—Mountain View Fire Rescue responded around 9:42 p.m.—sending one man to the hospital for non-life-threatening smoke inhalation while a rescued dog was found safe and an investigation continues. Colorado Hometown Weekly
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Boulder County commissioners voted on Aug 12 to put a measure on the November ballot that asks voters if they want to extend a .15% sales and use tax for open spaces—a tax that brings in about $15 million a year. Some commissioners said the measure does not clearly support farms and may lead to more discussions with local farmers. Colorado Hometown Weekly
