- ➤ Lafayette Police and Lafayette Fire are hosting an annual bike rodeo today for children 12 and under to learn bicycle safety on a road skills course and receive helmet fittings and bike inspections. - ➤ Boulder County commissioners urged Coloradans to contact their congressional representatives to oppose cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, the Child Tax Credit and affordable healthcare in H.R. 1 — a bill that could harm essential services if approved by the Senate. They warned that if changes like reintroducing a public lands provision occur, the effects on local services may be even worse — especially for those relying on these programs. Boulder County
- ➤ CDOT is upgrading the CO 119 bikeway project with work on the underpasses at CO 52 and Niwot Road and plans to build a new bus station to improve travel safety. A paved spur path is under construction to connect the Diagonal Bikeway to the Reservoir Trail/IBM Connector as part of nine miles of enhancements between Longmont and Boulder. Boulder County
