  • Police responded to a call on Wednesday near Lafayette Elementary School after a report that a suspicious man was spraying water at cars with a red and blue squirt gun (with a day camp in session), and they later found no sign of the man or any threat to the school or community.  Colorado Hometown Weekly

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Lafayette City Council unanimously approved the appeal for the Silo neighborhood development, directing developers Cornerstone Homes and Lennar Colorado to explore more diverse and multi-family housing options. Council members and city staff stressed that changes addressing the loss of open space and reduced housing types are needed to avoid potential delays in moving the project forward.  Colorado Hometown Weekly
