- ➤ Boulder County Parks and Open Space will host the free Summer Heritage Morning event on Sunday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Walker Ranch Homestead where costumed volunteers will offer demonstrations, storytelling and hands-on activities such as blacksmithing, butter churning and shingle making—visitors may bring a picnic and blanket but bikes and pets are not allowed. - ➤ City facility hours change for the Memorial Day holiday; Indian Peaks Golf Course is open from dawn to dusk and Great Outdoors Waterpark from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while Waneka Lake Boathouse will reopen June 1 — City Hall, Bob L. Burger Recreation Center, the library, the Collective Community Art Center, the Senior Center, Police Records and Administrative Offices and Municipal Courts are closed. City of Lafayette
