- ➤ Lafayette will display 21 sculptures along Public Road for the next year as part of its Art on the Street program, which has brought new art to the area since 2009. The installations include a 24-foot metal dragon by Deveren B. Farley and will encourage public discussion — residents can later share their own artwork in an exhibit starting mid-May. - ➤ Boulder County’s CO 119 Safety, Mobility & Bikeway Improvements Project update shows that the Niwot Road median was closed at CO 119/Diagonal from 9 p.m. April 28 until 5 a.m. May 7 for bikeway underpass work—motorists are advised to follow detour routes and cyclists should use alternate paths while an RTD bus stop and right shoulder sections remain closed.
