  • Lafayette officials approved VASA Fitness’ plan to transform the former King Soopers building at 480 U.S. 287 into a 55,600-square-foot fitness center with new features like a pool, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, multiple studios and gym space. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended that the Lafayette City Council review the proposed amendment—designed to update utilities, parking and accessibility while reducing daily traffic from the previous grocery store’s 6,197 trips.  Colorado Hometown Weekly
