- ➤ Boulder County’s Community Forestry Sort Yards open in May for free disposal of tree branches and logs in Nederland (291 Ridge Road) and Allenspark (8200 Hwy 7). Both sites operate Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with planned closures for Juneteenth, July Fourth, and Veterans Day. Boulder County

- ➤ Boulder County commissioners reported no new oil and gas development in unincorporated areas since 2012 and no drilling applications have been submitted since 2011 (43 wells were plugged since 2022).
