About this event
Art-Bathing Series - Light
Light shapes so much of how we experience the world, affecting what we see and how we feel. Between Light and Shadow is a workshop inviting participants to explore that space where light and shadow meet within, a quiet practice of witnessing ourselves through mark, image, and contrast. This meditative experience will take place in the galleries and will include a guided cacao ritual, lead by Susana Levy.

Instructor Bio Susana is originally from Mexico City and has felt at home in Boulder, CO, for the past few years. She graduated from Naropa University with a master’s degree in Art Therapy. She’s a contemplative artist, and uses art as a way to understand herself, the world around her, and the relationship between the two, placing creativity in the service of others. She’s passionate about ritual and rites of passage, especially in times of challenge and celebration, and she also works as a cacao facilitator. Her practice is grounded in the here and now, with a mindful, compassionate presence. She works from a small studio near Wonderland Lake, and when she’s not working, you’ll find her walking with her dogs, spending time with her family or making art.
