FREE Songwriters Meetup

About this event

Songwriters and aspirational songwriters! Join us every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM for a Songwriters Meetup.

Songwriters Meetup is a monthly get-together on the second Wednesday of the month.

6:30pm | doors open

8:30pm | doors close for the night

It's a free monthly hang for local songwriters, musicians, and curious folks aspiring to write original music. We sit in a circle and share our works-in-progress. Sing, play an instrument, or just bring your support for the group. This is a great space to ask for input, encouragement, fresh ideas, or supportive listening. Meet new friends and fellow creatives, and be part of a collaborative thriving music community here in Lafayette!

All skill levels, music genres, and ages are warmly welcomed! The Songwriters Meetup is facilitated by local musician and singer-songwriter Carly Fox .

Dog House Music Studios is a rehearsal studio, recording studio, and community space in Lafayette, Colorado for bands, musicians, and music fans in Boulder, CO and Denver, CO. Dog House Music Studios offers hourly music rehearsals, private monthly music rehearsal studios, rehearsal studio memberships, professional recording services, artist marketing services, video creation space, and a monthly concert series featuring Colorado bands and performers.

The Songwriters Meetup is lovingly hosted by local music nonprofit, Rock For The People . Rock For The People is all about Colorado's homegrown music scene and they're here to support YOU (the folks who listen and create it). You want a music scene that represents you, so their mission is to make opportunities for y'all (musicians, audio engineers, music fans) from historically underrepresented groups so you're heard, seen, and cheered for.
