Story & Discovery Time with Dr. Aldora White Eagle

About this event

Join us for a special Story Discovery Time hosted by Dr. Aldora White Eagle, a descendant of the Sand Creek Massacre. Perfect for ages 07 and their families, this 30-minute interactive program pairs the beauty of the Sand Creek Massacre storytelling with rich Arapaho culture and a gentle opportunity to commemorate the hard past in an age-appropriate way. After a captivating read-aloud exploring history, young learners will open mini Inquiry Trunks packed with safe, touchable objects tied to the story. Its a unique opportunity to build early literacy skills, support tactile processing, and spark thoughtful family conversations across generations.
