About this event
2026 is Colorado’s 150th anniversary, also known as its sesquicentennial! You’re invited to explore a part of the state famous for its natural history just 20 minutes west of Denver. Today enjoy FREE ENTRY to both the main visitor center Exhibit Hall, the Deep Time Detour Exhibition at the Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center, and $5 off guided bus tours. Have a fun and educational outdoor/indoor experience that is great for all ages and see the place where Colorado’s state fossil, the Stegosaurus, was uncovered 150 years ago!
