BackStory Theatre presents Annie

About this event

Leapin' lizards! BackStory Theatre brings one of Broadway's most beloved musicals to the stage this fall. It's 1933, and eleven-year-old Annie is stuck in a bleak New York City orphanage under the thumb of the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Armed with nothing but a locket and an unshakable belief that her parents are still out there, Annie escapes to find them - and instead finds a scruffy dog, a billionaire, and a city full of people who need a little hope as much as she does. Featuring the songs "Tomorrow," "It's the Hard-Knock Life," and "N.Y.C.," Annie is a story about resilience, chosen family, and looking out for one another when times are hardest.
