Nerd Nite

About this event

Think Discovery Channel, but live and with beer. Three experts. 20 minutes each. Come learn something new while drinking along.

We all know that learning is more fun when you’re drinking with friends.

Nerd Nite is a monthly event held around the globe during which experts give 20-minute fun-yet-informative presentations across all disciplines… while the audience drinks along.

Imagine learning about everything from math feuds or the science of the Simpsons, to the genealogy of Godzilla or debunking beer myths.

Founded over 10 years ago by Christopher Balakrishnan in Boston and Matt Wasowski in New York City, Nerd Nites are now held in more than 90 cities across the globe. In April 2014, Sara Wilson brought Nerd Nite to the Mile High City. Now hosted by Hanna Aucoin, Nerd Nite Denver continues to keep knowledge-hungry and beer-thirsty Coloradans satisfied once a month at The Bug Theatre.

Nerd Nite Denver is proud to call The Bug Theatre our “home”. Located in the Highlands, you’ll find a full offering of theatre, film, comedy, dance, music, and really any other form of artistic expression you can think of. What’s not to love?

Last Friday of the month. Doors at 6:30pm, show at 7:00pm. Learn more at linktr.ee/nerdnitedenver !
