About this event
Our longest-running – and quite possibly Denver’s longest running – show is still going! Freak Train been the best open-mic/variety show in town since 2000!
Hosted by GerRee Hinshaw, with Alex Weimer, “The Guy in the Booth,” Freak Train defies description. It leaves the station every last Monday of the month (except December… sometimes). The first 12 people to show up get 5 minutes to do anything they want on The Bug Stage (well, just about anything). It might be the best 5 minutes of your life, it might be the worst. Either way, there’s free beer, courtesy of our amazing beer sponsor, Westminster Brewing Co. ! (21+ w/valid ID)
Winner of Best Longtime Hosts - Westword Best of Denver 2025!
Freak Train runs the last Monday of Every Month! Signup is at 7 PM and Show starts at 8 PM!
Tickets are $5 and only available at the door beginning at 7:00pm the night of the show!
Listed by DoStuff: Denver, CO, onstagecolorado.com (The Events Calendar) and The Bug Theatre (Wix Events), gathered by the Lafayette events calendar.
