Create your own Vibrant Abstract Dot Art on a Wooden canvas

Discover the beauty of dot art and explore the rich artistic traditions of Australia's First Nations peoples in this creative, hands-on painting workshop.

Working on your own wooden panel, you'll experiment with earthy colour palettes, layered dots, organic shapes and contemporary abstract techniques to develop a unique piece of art. Throughout the session, we'll explore the influence of Australian Indigenous art on contemporary abstract expression, while recognising the deep cultural significance, stories and connection to Country within First Nations artistic traditions.

No painting experience is necessary . All materials are provided, including wooden panels, acrylic and oil paints. Come along, immerse yourself in colour and pattern, and create a beautiful piece inspired by the textures, colours and landscapes of Australia.
