Procraftinite

About this event

Have a project you've been procrastinating on starting or finishing that you keep telling yourself "when I have the time..."? We're holding that time for you!

Join us for intentional creative escape and community every third Friday night of the month for " Procraftinite " at The Seam! Bring any work-in-progress project, whether it's a painting, knitting, writing, scrapbooking, drawing, embroidering, cross-stitching, jewelry making, crocheting, bedazzling, or any other craft or creative outlet. Bring a snack to share, a beverage of choice, and your creative curiosity. We'll have cozy corners, community tables, and judgement-free space to create together.

Procraftinite at The Seam

Take advantage of this opportunity to take a break from usual routines and stress and set your creative brain free for just a couple hours. Connect with your inner artist, and maybe even find some beautiful connections with others while we glue, stitch, sketch, purl, and explore.

"My belief is that we can’t just erase anxiety and leave a blank slate; to make our relief permanent we have to replace anxiety with creativity, so the brain is working in a way that doesn’t allow us to fall into anxiety ruts. The part of the brain that reacts to unfamiliar things with curiosity triggers another part whose job is to connect."
