About this event
Enhance your ukulele skills while playing popular songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond. Each class in this five-class series, held on the third Wednesday of the month, introduces a new playing technique, including a variety of strumming patterns, basic fingerpicking, and chord embellishments. Participants should already be comfortable with basic chords (C, G, F, A, D, G7, D7, C7, and Am) and be ready to expand their chord repertoire. Reading standard music notation is not required. Music will be provided electronically as PDFs, which you may print or view on a tablet, and will be projected during class whenever possible. Bring your ukulele (all sizes welcome, including baritone) and a tuner. This class is designed for players with some experience and is not intended for absolute beginners.
