Act Development - Intermediate/Advanced

Description: For students with a concept, this class will focus on developing their idea into an act. Technique is not taught, in this class students will work independently on an apparatus of their choice alongside group exercises, mutual feedback, and individualized instruction. Students must communicate with Issac prior to start of session, both to prepare rigging requirements but also to establish individual student goals. Students may provide their own apparatus, pending inspection/approval by Frequent Flyers. Prerequisites: Approval from instructor, previous aerial practice. Ability to play one’s own music (laptop/phone/headphones/speaker etc). This class does not include a warm up. Backs of knees, waists and armpits should be covered to avoid burns. A leotard or unitard under your T-shirt, or a shirt long enough to stay tucked in are recommended. Avoid clothing that has very hard seams and/or zippers. Please bring a water bottle to each class at the studio.
