About this event

“When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations, we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind. If we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us....” Modern Buddhism

We may believe the above statement superficially, but when we try to stay positive in difficult situations we often fail and then we become discouraged. In this short 2 session course, we will learn methods from Buddha’s teachings that enable us to respond to difficulties with wisdom. One of the most powerful practices in all of his teachings is “patient acceptance”. This mind is not weak and vulnerable. It is one of the most proactive and effective reactions we can develop as human beings when things go wrong. Everyone Welcome.
