About this event
What if the most important thing engineers need to know about AI isn’t found in the latest model, but in 200 years of technological history? From the steam engine and electric power to computing and artificial intelligence, this lecture explores what history can teach us about the future of engineering and why, as AI capabilities become abundant, distinctly human qualities such as tacit knowledge, judgment, and accountability may become more valuable than ever.
Join us for this year's Moulakis Lecture on Responsible Engineering, presented by Lucky Vidmar. Vidmar is a technology lawyer with background in AI and machine learning who is currently leading Microsoft's global IP and AI litigation team
