Longmont Live Music – The Crones

About this event

FREE SHOW

We’re excited to welcome Boulder bluegrass band The Crones to the taproom.

The Crones bring Colorado bluegrass to life with tight vocal harmonies, high-energy fiddle tunes, and an Americana twist that gets people moving. The name is a reclamation — proudly owning the power and wisdom that comes with being older women. This Boulder-based trio — Tina Dozauer (vocals, guitar), Laima Haley (vocals, fiddle), and Roz Weller (upright bass) — draws on roots in classical training, Eastern European folk, and Nashville honky-tonks to deliver a sound that’s traditional, contemporary, and completely their own. Whether you’re a lifelong bluegrass fan or hearing it for the first time, The Crones will have you foot-stomping by the first song.
