About this event
Jazz Funk is where fierce meets fluid. This intermediate-level class blends the sharp precision of jazz technique with the swagger and groove of hip hop. Dancers will explore bold, stylized choreography that focuses on musicality, body control, dynamic textures, and expressive performance—perfect for those who love dancing to pop, R&B, and commercial music. Inspired by the choreography seen in music videos and on stage with artists like Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, and Chris Brown, this class challenges dancers to push their performance skills and refine their style.
