3-Day Thanksgiving Break Wheel Throwing & Handbuilding Camp (8 - 12 yrs)

Spend your break getting muddy in the best way! In this 3-day wheel throwing & handbuilding camp at Clay Hub, artists will throw on the wheel the first day and a half—learning how to center, pull, and shape their clay. On the second half of day two, we will introduce and talk about handbuilding. Day 3, we’ll focus on finishing techniques like decorating with sgraffito, and using underglazes for color. Campers will also choose a few favorite pieces to be dip glazed by the Clay Hub team. All finished work will be ready for pick-up 3–4 weeks after camp ends. All levels welcome!

This school day off camp is open to both brand-new and continuing pottery students, ages 8+. Because each participant works at their own wheel, everyone can move at their own pace.
